. The design encourages healthy maturation of the spine by supporting the pelvis, hip joint, and leg position rather than putting a baby in a compromising sitting position before the spine is ready. The ERGObaby Infant Insert

also supports the safety of the baby's head and neck in this critical stage of development.

The ERGObaby Infant Insert

is a specially padded and shaped cushion that can be quickly and easily placed in the carrier and readjusted as needed. This design easily enables parents to ensure that their newborn is positioned correctly on the pillow, keeping pressure off the developing sacrum, and supports the development of the spine and hips. It snaps closed around the infant, holding the baby in a cozy, protected environment close to the heart, as well as in an ergonomically correct natural sitting position.

	Love the insert, not the color
	While this insert says that it is blush beige, I think that it is really more blush. When I initially ordered it the description just said beige and was shocked that it looked so pink, thus my 4 star rating. I do love that it enables me to use the ergo with my 8 week old, however I feel that it does leave the carrier feeling particularly bulky on my 5 ft. 3 frame compared to just using a different type of carrier for when he is smaller.

	Worth EVERY penny!
	Before my son was born, we purchased an Ergo before the 2011 price increase. And it sat in the box. We did not purchase the original infant insert due to reviews. But then, to have enough for a coupon on MMB, I bought this. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!! Worth EVERY penny! My son, when fussy, will snuggle up and fall right to sleep. I like that I can keep the flap UP to keep him warm, or bend it down for some fresh air! EVERY new mom should have an Ergo WITH the H2H insert.
