Have You Tried Stashers?

Have You Tried Stashers?

Erin Burt

I recently purchased my first Stasher, which is similar to a plastic zipper-seal bag, but it’s way better. Not only are they better for the environment, but Stashers are made of food-grade silicone. That means they can be washed in the dishwasher and reused, and they can also be frozen, microwaved, boiled, and even baked in the oven!

Here are my top three ways to use Stashers.

Meal Prep
I’m a huge fan of meal prep and freezer meals. You can save tons of time by prepping your meals in advance. Using a half-gallon Stasher, you can put 1-2 chicken breasts, seasoning or marinade, and a few veggies. Seal the bag and toss it in the freezer until you need it. The best part is, if you forget to thaw ahead of time, it’s no problem! You can toss it in the oven or boil it on the stove. Isn’t that amazing?

Fresh Fruit and Veggies
We like to eat healthy in our family, but fresh fruits and veggies aren’t always easy on the go. Grab a snack size stasher and fill it wish fresh carrots and sliced veggies. Seal it and store it in the fridge, and grab for a healthy snack on the go. Slice some apples and dip them in a little lemon juice and put them in the snack-sized stasher. Quick and healthy snacks for on the go!

Reusable Solution
I have seen reusable sandwich bags before, but they're often hard to clean and don’t last very long. These Stashers are super amazing. Made of thick, food grade silicone, they are perfect for sandwiches. Grab a couple sandwich size Stashers, and soon you’ll have no need for those plastic baggies that are terrible for the environment.

You’ll love the seal on the Stasher too. It closes airtight and keeps food fresh.

What will you stash in your stasher?
