This wonderful organic soap is perfect to use to wash and care for your wool items (clothing, mattress pads, wool cloth diaper covers, socks). It's heavily enriched with lanolin. Please allow the bar to dry completely between uses, and do not let it sit in water to ensure a longer life. Approximate 30% lanolin content.

To use: Rinse your wool item in cool or tepid water, then fill your sink, basin, or tub with warm (not hot) water. Add your wool items and get them wet. Then rub the soap in your hands to create a rich lather. Gently swish and wash to be sure all the wonderful lanolin lather reaches the pores of the wool. Drain your sink or tub and rinse item under cool water. Lay on a towel and roll to get out excess water and lay on a towel to dry (or hang dry with support to prevent stretching).
