These products have been specially formulated to wash and lanolize your wool cloth diaper covers and other wool items.
Wool wash bars - Bars have a high lanolin content and are great for spot treating as well as washing and lanolizing your wool. They come in yummy scents and unscented. The bars are handcraft and will last a long time if cared for properly. Please allow the bar to dry completely between uses, and do not let it sit in water to ensure a longer life.
Liquid Wool Wash for lanolizing - Naturally Luxe and Imse Vimse Wool Cure are both high in lanolin are are used to wash and lanolize your wool. Liquid can be easier to use that a bar, but won't last as long.
Liquid Wool Wash/Shampoo for cleaning - Eucalan and Imse Vimse Wool Shampoo are both lower in lanolin content and are used for more frequent washings when your wool gets dirty, but doesn't necessarily need a full lanolization.
Lanolin Spray - A quick way to lanolize your wool cloth diaper covers in between lanolizing sessions (about every 4-6 washes - probably monthly).
How to Lanolize your Wool Diaper Cover.
Rinse your wool item in cool or tepid water and then fill your sink, basin, or tub with warm (not hot) water. Add your wool items and get them wet. Then, if using a bar, rub the soap in your hands to create a rich lather or pour the appropriate amount of liquid wool wash in the basin. Gently swish and wash to be sure all the wonderful lanolin lather reaches the pores of the wool. Let sit for about 20-30 minutes. Drain your sink or tub and rinse item under cool water. Lay on a towel and roll to get out excess water and lay flat on a towel to dry.
